For the ninth consecutive year, we are awarding the Vključi.Vse (Include. All) recognition to companies that integrate balance, diversity, and inclusion into their everyday practices—the foundations of a healthy, sustainable, and successful community. These companies are pioneers and role models in this field, and we monitor their achievements using the Diversity Charter methodology.
Intera proves that openness, respect, and cooperation are not the exception, but a part of everyday life. Therefore, the Women Managers' Section awards them the Vključi.Vse 2025 recognition with great pride.
A Role Model of Inclusive Culture, Sustainable Leadership, and Community Connection
At Intera from Ptuj, they believe that diversity is the foundation of innovation and sustainability. Their culture proves that openness to people is not just a strategic decision, but a way of life and work. They create an environment where every individual feels accepted, heard, and valued—regardless of gender, age, education, or lifestyle. It is precisely in this that they see the key to long-term success and creativity.
A Culture That Connects
Intera goes beyond formal policies and builds bridges between differences. Through their everyday practices, leading by example, and supporting young talent, they prove that understanding and respecting differences is crucial for genuine inclusion. Their employees value open dialogue, co-creation, and flexibility, which allows them a strong work-life balance. By doing so, they set standards that are not taken for granted in the IT industry.
Fitness for the Body, Yoga for the Mind, a Vision for the Future
The company, which has been developing Intrix digital solutions for 23 years, achieved an important milestone by renovating a decaying military barracks from the early 20th century. Today, this monument-protected building, serving as the Ptuj Technology Park, offers a modern, greenery-surrounded working environment where the intersection of the past and the future is reflected in an innovative spirit. A special feature of the premises includes a fitness center with a personal trainer and a yoga studio, enabling employees to make health and well-being a part of their daily routine. Thus, Intera proves that investing in people is an inseparable part of their vision for the future.
Achievements and Recognitions
Intera's excellence is confirmed by numerous awards: a four-time Zlata nit (Golden Thread) winner, the Styrian Employer 2022 award, ranking among the Red Herring 100 EMEA, a platinum AAA credit rating, and the Family-Friendly Enterprise certificate. As the first Slovenian company, they joined the global Pledge 1% movement, through which they systematically return time, knowledge, and resources to the community. Among their socially responsible activities, their support for local sports and cultural organizations, as well as mentoring young entrepreneurs, particularly stand out.
Equal Opportunities in Practice
At Intera, women occupy 38% of management positions, which exceeds the IT industry average and sets new standards for equality. All HR and development decisions are based on competencies and values, and biases are consciously eliminated from the hiring and promotion processes. With flexible forms of work, the option to work from home, and the right to disconnect, they enable employees to balance their professional and private lives without the feeling of burnout.
Values of the Future
Intera is proof that it is possible to run a successful technology company while simultaneously creating an inclusive, sustainable, and family-friendly working environment. Their story combines innovation, responsibility, and care for the community—values that are not just written down, but are realized in practice every day.
The selection committee for this year's recipients of the Vključi.Vse recognition included: President Aleša Mižigoj, Barbara Zupančič, Anisa Faganelj, Barbara Smolnikar, Klaudija Javornik, Matej Černe, and Enej Kirn.
