The Managers' Association of Slovenia
The Managers' Association of Slovenia (MAS) was founded in May 1989 when 170 managers unanimously decided to create a professional organisation, establishing the Association's founding assembly. The membership of MAS grew rapidly and eventually settled at a figure of around 1,000 members. Some of the earliest most imporant events of The Managers' Association of Slovenia are gathered and shortly presented (in Slovene) in the document (1,2,3), which historicly covers organization from 1989 to 2004. As the most esteemed Slovenian managers' organization we work towards the advancement of management as a profession; we seek to protect the managerial working environment and play a role in negotiating that space as it pertains to effective business; and we lobby against those policies which might infringe upon the management profession and in favor of those which will improve conditions for all managers working in Slovenia. |
