Our work


With our work at The Managers Association of Slovenia, we do much to realize our mission of upholding and furthering the rights and improving conditions for those who hold management positions in Slovenia. Below, we list just some of the ways we achieve this goal.

 

Conference & Meeting
Our conferences and meetings are important for the advancement of the profession and the enrichment of our members. These events include.
  • January gathering,
  • Annual General assembly,
  • Gala ball,
  • MQ conference for inovative leadership,
  • Spring picnic,
  • Management Congress,
  • one-day professional educational events on current themes, focusing on business issues and occupational concerns.
Awards
In the wider public and in the business arena there are those who have dome important work for the management profession and we honor them with the following awards:
  • Manager of the Year (awarded since 1991)
  • The Most Female-Friendly Business of the Year (awarded since 1991)
  • Young Manager of the Year (awarded since 1999, in conjunction with The Section of Young Managers)
  • Artemida - Woman Manager of the Year
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award 
Sections
These subgroups, known as "sections", were created to help meet the special needs of some our members and to build a more inclusive organization:

Cooperation
We are also involved in numerous international managers associations and in contact with many managers organizations abroad. We are members of the European managers association
CEC, which connects all EU member-state managers' associations.
