Convenant on a Sucessful Future of Slovenia 15/2020

In its Covenant on a Successful Future of Slovenia 15/2020, which the Managers’ Association of Slovenia presented during its Management Congress, the Slovenian management sent a clear message that the situation in which Slovenia finds itself requires urgent changes. We need a new development impetus which will not happen by itself, which is why we, who are responsible for decision-making, feel it is our duty to re-establish the social dialogue, the mutual respect and trust based on justice and responsibility.

Covenant on a Successful Future of Slovenia 15/2020it received strong support by the President of the Republic of Slovenia and has now been released for public discussion.

• establish a profitable and efficient business model;
• speed up the company restructuring process in terms of organisation and programme;
• nurture mutually respectful and sincere relationships;
• improve the level of managerial knowledge by organising trainings and introducing modern business practices;
• increase investments in research and development to create new products and services with a higher value-added; increase our presence in the global markets and the emerging economies;
• focus our attention on design and functional design to reach higher price ranges;
• develop and strengthen our own brands; develop the future generation of managers (succession systems) and other key personnel to be ready for the international race;
• launch in the companies, together with the owners, new management assessment and remuneration systems stemming from the welfare model which is dominated by three elements: business results, quality of living of people related to the company and environmental protection.
